How to grow Natural Hair : The Easy Way

Step-by-Step Guide to Growing Healthy Natural Hair Growing natural hair is about creating a healthy scalp, reducing breakage, and being consistent with your routine. Hair typically grows about ½ inch per month, so the goal is to retain as much length as possible. Step 1: Start with a Healthy Scalp Healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp. * Wash your scalp every 1–2 weeks. * Massage your scalp for 3–5 minutes several times a week to increase blood flow. * Treat dandruff, itchiness, or buildup promptly. * Keep your scalp clean without over-drying it. Dry Twisting with Whipped Shea Butter

Image
Whenever I do my two strand twists, I always do it on wet or damp hair, never on dry hair. I decided to try doing my two strand twists on dry hair using the Whipped Shea Butter I made yesterday. Here is the recipe: 16 oz of Shea Butter (white) 1 tsp of Vitamin E 2 tsp of Extra virgin coconut oil 2 tsp of Extra virgin olive oil 2 tsp of Almond oil (by Zayd's ) 2 tbsp of Jojoba Oil 2 tbsp of Castor Oil Whip with hand held mixer until mixture looks creamy and fluffy. For each section, I applied 1/2 a dime-size, and twisted. My hair felt moisturized but lacked the soft feeling that is usually present when I do the twists on damp hair.  Also, I noticed, my front area did not have a curly look as it used to. Which do you prefer, wet/damp twisting or dry twisting?

I do not rinse it out. On wash day , every 2 weeks, I apply it on my scalp and hair, cover for 30 mins and then shampoo and deep condition my hair. I then apply my leave in and reapply the Batana oil on scalp and edges and also my moisturizer on my hair.  The benefits of using batana oil for hair include- Hair growth: Batana oil contains nutrients that can help promote hair growth. - Moisturizing: Batana oil is a good moisturizer for hair, helping to keep it hydrated and healthy. - Hair strengthening: The fatty acids present in batana oil can help strengthen hair, reducing the chances of breakage. - Natural hair dye: Batana oil can be used to restore natural color to gray and white hair. - Shine: Batana oil can add shine to hair, leaving it...
