Should You Use Cold Water or Warm Water to Rinse Your Hair?

 


If you have low porosity hair, use warm water to rinse to keep your hair cuticle lifted so that products can penetrate better.


If you have high porosity hair, first rinse with warm water and then use cold water to close the hair cuticle. High porosity hair shaft are very porous and moisture escapes quickly.


If you have normal porosity hair, you can use warm water and then cool water.
