Is it a Sin to Blow Dry, Straighten or Alter Your Natural Hair?

 The Bible does not say that changing your hair texture is a sin. There is no verse that specifically mentions straightening, curling, or otherwise altering hair texture as being sinful. Hair care and styling choices, including changing your natural texture, are not addressed as moral or spiritual issues in Scripture. What is mentioned in the Bible are the following:  1 Peter 3:3-4 talks about not letting outward adornment (like hairstyles or jewelry) be your primary focus, but rather emphasizing a gentle and quiet spirit. 1 Corinthians 11:15 mentions that long hair is a glory for a woman because it is given as a covering, but it does not forbid styling or altering the hair. 1 Timothy 2:9 emphasizes modesty and inner beauty over elaborate hairstyles.
