When too much heat and smoke comes out while using a straightening brush, it’s a warning sign 🚨 — and your hair may be getting damaged. Here’s what it usually means: 🔥 What Excessive Smoke Means 1. Your Hair Is NOT Fully Dry This is the #1 cause. Water trapped in the hair is turning into steam Steam lifts and cracks the cuticle This causes internal damage (called bubble hair) 👉 Hair must be 100% dry before using any heat tool. 2. I started using Batana oil on my scalp May 31st 2024. You can also find it here http://hotana.com/discoveringnatural March 2024 Here is my 3 weeks result. How I use it, I use it every 2 days and apply to my scalp and edges. I do not rinse it out. On wash day , every 2 weeks, I apply it on my scalp and hair, cover for 30 mins and then shampoo and deep condition my hair. I then apply my leave in and reapply the Batana oil on scalp and edges and also my moisturizer on my hair. The benefits of using batana oil for hair include- Hair growth: Batana oil contains nutrients that can help promote hair growth. - Moisturizing: Batana oil is a good moisturizer for hair, helping to keep it hydrated and healthy. - Hair strengthening: The fatty acids present in batana oil can help strengthen hair, reducing the chances of breakage. - Natural hair dye: Batana oil can be used to restore natural color to gray and white hair. - Shine: Batana oil can add shine to hair, leaving it...

Keep Your Hair Moisturized Afro-textured hair naturally struggles to retain moisture because the curls make it harder for natural oils to travel down the hair shaft. Try this routine: Mist your hair with water or a water-based leave-in conditioner. Seal in moisture with a lightweight oil or butter. Deep condition weekly. Pay special attention to your ends, which are the oldest and most fragile part of your hair. 2. Detangle Gently Aggressive detangling is one of the biggest causes of breakage. Best practices: Detangle on damp, conditioned hair. Use your fingers first before reaching for a comb. Work in sections. Start from the ends and gradually move upward. 3. Stretch Your Hair When Possible Constant shrinkage can increase tangling and single-strand knots. Ways to s...
