What a day! What a day! It was jam-packed with so much activity, but I am so glad that everything that I wanted to get done, did get done. Started off the day with Lil Sis's soccer game, * her team won!! Yeah! It was a muddy soggy game because it had rained during the week and the fields were messed up. After the game, we went to Sally's Beauty Store. From there... time to wash Big Sis's hair. I am tried to rotate when I do the girls' hair. As all mothers of multiple girls know, it is a chore doing hair, even though I LOVE doing hair. Here is what I did to style her hair. Style:   Double Mohawk with cornrows and twists Wash Process Pre-wash with Shea Moisture Purification Masque for 30 mins, Rinse. Co-wash with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Invigorating Conditioner Deep conditioned with Shea Moisture Anti-Breakage Masque  for 30 mins. Rinse Apply Shea Moisture Thickening and Growth Milk as Leave In Apply oil to scalp and hair and massage scalp...

It's that time again! Wash day! Have I ever told y'all that I LOVE WASH DAY ? Well, I do! With the thought of starting the month off with clean hair...I decided to do a Bentonite Clay treatment to cleanse my hair. After doing the treatment, I co-washed my hair with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Invigorating Conditioner .  I deep conditioned my hair for an hour with Giovanni Smooth As Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner . After DC, I cool and seal and then rinsed my hair with Oyin Handmade Honey Hemp Conditioner. I had lots of shrinkage! But my curls were putting!! LOL! I moisturized my hair with my leave-in conditioner, Giovanni Direct Leave In , and then did a oil massage. I was not sure how to style my hair, but I wanted it well moisturized, so I decided to use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Eco Styler Gel Argan Oil, and then seal my ends with Whipped Shea Butter. If you follow me on Instagram   or have seen my March 2013 Favorites video, you would know that I am on a personal challenge to use up my products. Why am I on this challenge? First of all I am not a Product Junkie...   My Definition of a Product Junkie     A person that sees a new product and goes out to buy it regardless of if he/she needs it or not. That is my definition. I decided to do this challenge because the products I have in my stash are items that work for me and the girls. I have a hair regimen that works for me , and one for the girls . I know what they need for each stage of their hair care and mine. The amount of products that I have is very sufficient for the job. To keep me on track of not deviating from our regimen, using up the products we have is necessary. It also keeps me from becoming a product junkie. LOL!! March has ended and April is here... Before we forget about March, here are my favorites for the month. I am really looking forward to April. One of my goals for this new month is not to buy any new products. For the past couple of weeks I have been reading Chicoro's Grow It . I decided to test the method of hair care that I am learning as I read about them. Detangling can be done in many ways, however, Chicoro suggests to start with dry detangling before doing a wet detangling ( if needed ). Watch below as I show you have I dry detangle my hair using Chicoro's method. I was shocked by the results. I only lost shedded hair while I detangled and even after co-washing my hair, I only lost about 2 broken hair strands.
