How do you wash your natural hair?

I wash my hair in twists to help reduce tangles and breakage. Here are the steps I take.

- Lightly mist hair with warm water

- Section hair

- Apply coconut oil or a preshampoo treatment

- Detangle and Twist hair

Sometimes after doing this, I would wait a few hours or overnight.

- Thoroughly rinse hair with warm water until water runs clear. This will remove some surface product buildup.

- Apply shampoo on the scalp.

- Use a shampoo brush to massage scalp  to remove any product buildup from scalp.

- Rinse hair

- Apply a little shampoo on the twists and squeeze in

- Rinse thoroughly and towel dry with microfiber towel.
