Aspirin as a Cure for Dandruff?

ASPRIN AS A CURE FOR DANDRUFF?
During my research for cures for dandruff, I discovered the use of aspirin by many people. Are you one of them? How do you use it?
Many say that crushing 3 aspirin in 3 tablespoons of shampoo and massaging on scalp have the following benefits
- removing the fungi that causes dandruff
- helping with dryness
- exfoliating scalp to remove dead cells
- helping with blood circulation thereby helping with hair growth.
What most findings say is that the active ingredient in aspirin is similar to those in dandruff products. The contrary is true . The active ingredient in aspirin is Acetylsalicylic acid whereas the ingredient in dandruff medication is salicylic acid. Although their names are similar, they are not the same. Acetylsalicylic acid is a combination of Acetic acid and Salicylic acid.
If you decide to give this a try, take note if changes in your hair. You can use the @hair_journal_app to keep note. Remember with any hair treatments, only time
🕘 will tell if it truly works. I feel that good scalp care and eating healthy food and drinking water is the best route to hair care.
