DiscoveringNatural Hair Coaching

Get To Know Me My name is Sola Awe and I am so happy you found this page. I am a licensed hair coach and have been a natural hair enthusiast since 2011 after I decided to transition my oldest daughter to natural hair. I have two daughters who are both natural and lovers of natural hair. My husband is also an advocate in his own way. I have a presence on social media as DiscoveringNatural that is dedicated to helping people be comfortable with their natural hair and learn how to easily care for it.  As a child, natural hair was not embraced and when I became an adult, I struggled with understanding my hair. The next day, we started my daughter's transition to natural and I followed afterwards with mine. When I discove...

Allergic reaction: Some people may be allergic to cloves or eugenol, which can cause an allergic reaction, leading to itching, redness, and even hives. 3. Dry scalp: Cloves water can dry out the scalp, leading to itchiness and flakiness. 4. Sensitivity: Cloves water can be too harsh for sensitive scalps, causing irritation and itching. 5. Overuse: Using cloves water too frequently or in high concentrations can cause irritation and itching. To avoid itching when using cloves water, try the following: 1. Dilute the cloves water with a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil. 2. Perform a patch test before using cloves water on your scalp. 3. Use a small amount and avoid applying it to sensitive areas. 4. Mix cloves water with other natural ingredients that soothe the scalp, like al...
