Dealing with Itchiness... and EarFlaps!

I've had my cornrows now for a week, and started experiencing some itchiness! It's driving me crazy! Anyways, decided to visit the Beauty Store Shop to find a product I can use to give me some relief.

Got a bit sidetracked by the huge selection of wool earflaps. LOL! Sorry for the outfit, just coming back from the gym.

Back to my search....

After looking at products geared towards itchy scalp, and finding issues with one ingredient or the other, I decided to go home and try some tea tree oil on my scalp. I first sprayed my hair with water and applied some tea tree oil to the affected areas.

So far, so good...

If the itchiness returns, I plan to try the following:
  • Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
  • Washing my hair (still in cornrows) with a little shampoo mixed with Tea Tree Oil.

And for everyone who thinks itchy scalp means your hair is growing... well... that's a myth! Read more about it here.

How do you deal with itchy scalp?
