As a parent, we don't like to see our children struggle with a task. It is just built in us to jump in and help. Sometimes, we need to hold back and let them learn from it.
This is adorable. I enjoyed watching it. I don't have kids yet but I sure will teach them to take care of their hair. I was laughing at the younger sis busy passing bobby pins, haha I hope she knows her turn is coming soon. :) Thanks for sharing.

Keep Your Hair Moisturized Afro-textured hair naturally struggles to retain moisture because the curls make it harder for natural oils to travel down the hair shaft. Try this routine: Mist your hair with water or a water-based leave-in conditioner. Seal in moisture with a lightweight oil or butter. Deep condition weekly. What is the LOC Method? The LOC method is the three steps of moisturizing your hair and sealing in the mositure into your hair to keep it from drying and breaking. What I do on a regular basis is wet my hands with water and just run my wet hands through my hair. I read somewhere that when you wash your hair with water, do so using lukewarm water because hot water actually dries up your hair. Step 2: (O)ils Oils are SO good for your hair. They are one of the most natural products to use to moisturize your hair. Apply your oils to your hair making sure that it thoroughly penetrates your hair ...
Get To Know Me My name is Sola Awe and I am so happy you found this page. I am a licensed hair coach and have been a natural hair enthusiast since 2011 after I decided to transition my oldest daughter to natural hair. I have two daughters who are both natural and lovers of natural hair. My husband is also an advocate in his own way. I have a presence on social media as DiscoveringNatural that is dedicated to helping people be comfortable with their natural hair and learn how to easily care for it. As a child, natural hair was not embraced and when I became an adult, I struggled with understanding my hair. When my oldest daughter was 4, I struggled with caring for her hair and did not have any resource to help me out, so I decided to relax her hair. After a friend invited me a natural hair event in Houston, Texas, where I reside, I knew I have found a new passion. The next day, we started my daughter's transition to natural and I followed afterwards with mine. When I discove...
