11 months and going strong!


Just wanted to say...I have been transitioning for 11 months now! Yeah! Really have no desire to Big Chop any time soon. However, I gave myself a 1/2 inch to 1 inch trim today. I need to edit the video. I will post on Facebook when it is ready.

    Congratulations on 11 months! Are you still doing the Curly Girl Method? I just found your blog a few minutes ago, and was excited to see another transitioner trying CG.

    I just reached 3 months a couple days ago, and I've been doing the CG method pretty much from the beginning of my transition. I love it. My hair feels great, and I'm experimenting with and learning new styles. So glad I learned about it when I did :)

      Thank you! Yes, I am still doing the Curly Girl Method. I believe apart from the decision to go natural, this is the next best decision I could have made for my hair. It has helped my hair with retaining moisture. I do not do the typical WnG since I still have the relaxed ends, but based on products and styling tools, I have kept strictly to the CG Method.
