Hair in the red box is my new growth I have decided to do the Curly Girl Method on my transitioning hair. The Curly Girl Method is based on the book called Curly Girl: The Handbook , written by Lorraine Massey. It requires hair maintenance to be done without the use of shampoos, silicones, and styling tools. While doing my research for this method, I had a hard time finding transitioners doing this method. I decided to do it myself because I want take advantage of the moisturizing factor that this method addresses. So... The reason I decided to go natural was be free to do what I want with my hair. No having to consistently worry about a relaxer and keeping up with the maintenance. I love the versatility of natural hair!!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I love the way I only use a little for nearly half of my head. You know we got lots of Hur-Hair-HAIR in this house. If I use too much, Lil Sis hair along can use up the whole bottle. LOL. I have found ways to speed up my wash days. Thank God!!
