Bentonite Clay Treatment for Natural Hair

For a couple of weeks now, I have been researching natural hair cleansers and came across Bentonite Clay.

Bentonite Clay has been used for centuries for different purposes. These include:
  • Skin Cleanser
  • Antiseptic
  • Hair Cleanser
  • Face masque
  • Internal Detoxification
  • Antidote against Poisoning
  • Calcium supplement for pregnant women
  • Treatment of Candida
I made the hair mask using the recipe below:

1/4 cup of Bentonite Clay
1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup of Aloe Vera Juice
3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 drops of Rosemary Oil
2 drops of Peppermint Oil
2 drops of Lavender Oil

Applying the product to my hair was a wonderful experience. The mixture did not feel like clay at all, instead it felt like a creamy product.

Have you tried Bentonite Clay Hair Mask?  Share your experience.

    1. Looking forward to reading about your experience. I love it. I tried it on Lil Sis but she has too much hair, I didn't get the clay out the first time, so I had to rewash again because the conditioner did not remove the clay. I guess I will just stick to doing it on my own hair alone. LOL!
