Deletewonderful post, I want to make sure I understand or read correctly for your wash day...you pre-poo with Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque and go back and deep condition with the same product? If I am correct, why deep condition and pre-poo? why not one or the other instead? thank you
ReplyDeletecb
That is a good question. Let me clarify. For my "Every Two Weeks", when I do my pre-poo, I use just a finger-full of SMDTM and a lot of EVOO. I need more of the benefits of the oil now versus the masque. I like adding the masque because I have gotten better results when I do that. For the deep conditioning, I use a lot of SMDTM, like 4 finger-full and a little of EVOO. I need more benefits of the masque now vesus the oil. Why do both... because (1) Doing a pre-poo, gives me a protective shield for when I wash my hair (2) Doing a Deep condition helps a lot with retaining my moisture level way after the wash process has ended. It has worked this way for me so far, and that is why my transitioning has been quite stressfree.....most times.
DeleteLooking good and I love that style on you, its really cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love it too.. At least it keeps my hands out of my hair for a while. I do miss my hair, though. At least I still get to play in the girls' hair. LOL!
