  Yes, cholesterol significantly affects hair; while it's vital for healthy hair growth (needed in follicles), high LDL ("bad") cholesterol can clog micro-vessels, reducing nutrient supply, leading to thinning, poor anchoring, and hair loss, while low HDL ("good") cholesterol is also linked to hair loss, especially in women, so balancing levels is key.   How High LDL Cholesterol Harms Hair Clogs Follicles: Excess LDL cholesterol can block tiny blood vessels feeding hair roots.
