This product dries hard but you can layer with some castor oil to provide softness.

What do these ingredients do to our natural hair?
Water
      moisturizers and softens hair

Carbomer
     used to provide thickening 

Triethanolamine
      pH adjuster used to neutralize the hair and adjusts the acidity/alkalinity of products

Polyacrylate Acid
      provide thickening, emulsification, binding, and film forming on hair

Glycerin
      humectant; Attract water to the hair to keep the moisture content high

Fragrance
      makes product sleep good

Methylisothiazolinone
      preservative

Methoxy
      UV protection

Cinnamidopropyl
      Hair conditioning agent

Hydroxysultaine
     Conditioners

Panthenol
      Humectant
   
Aloe Vera Extract
     provides moisture to the hair.


Tetrasodium EDTA
     chelating agent, helps maintain clarity, protect fragrance compounds, and prevent rancidity

  1. What do you think of this product? Do you use it often? I typically use Lily Desert AVG, which provides a pretty strong hold, but I'm open to different Gels.

    1. I rarely use Gel in my hair. I just needed a non-protein gel, hence why I got this one. You know me, I have to do my research. I have only used this once...today =). Still gathering my thoughts on what I think about it. When I was reading review, I did not have any negative comments. I'll let you know soon what my thoughts are. It only cost me $2.99 by the way. ;)
