Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner: FORMULA CHANGED


Last month, I stopped using Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner. Why? Click HERE.  Well, I was at Trader Joe's today and decided to read the ingredient list of the conditioner, maybe they have removed parabens.

YEAH!!

This product no longer has parabens, however!!! They have now gone and added Silicones. Oh well... guess I will not be re-purchasing. Thankfully I still have the Tea Tree Tingle conditioner.

What is Amla? Amla powder is made from Indian gooseberry fruit.  It has the following benefits to hair: Stimulates growth and prevents hair loss Add shine and reduces grey hair by darken hair Nourishes scalp What is Brahmi? Brahmi powder is derived by a plant from India called the Brahmi plant.  It has the following benefits to hair: Nourishes hair Helps with itchy and dandruff prone scalp Reduces hair loss and breakage Helps with premature greying Preparing for my first Amla and Brahmi Treatment During my research, I read that these powders can be quite drying to the hair. Detangling a Tenderheaded Kid's Hair

My younger daughter is extremely tenderheaded.  Just the slightest touch of her hair causes her to cry.  Unlike my older daughter whom I can cornrow, thread, or do any styles on, I have only been able to do twists without her crying. Today is her wash day, and as you can see, she has lots of hair that needs to be detangled! I literary have nightmares when I think about detangling her hair and dealing with the tears that accompany the process.  Here is how I accomplished a tear-free detangling session! Pick your detangling location I choose our game room. This room is her favorite room in the house. Provide distraction Turned on the TV to her favorite show. I also provided her with a small snack.
