my hair is short and fine and im just transitioning , ive tried numerous times to twist my hair but it doesn't come out fluffy rather its like a twisted afro, how do I get the fluffy look and what are the must have products .
Since you are just transitioning, and still have relaxed ends, it will be quite difficult to get a fluffy look. However, you can try doing a twist and curl. Check out this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujRkgLJYiwA&list=PL1B2FF061F0877CCA&index=94

I started using Batana oil on my scalp May 31st 2024. You can also find it here http://hotana.com/discoveringnatural March 2024 Here is my 3 weeks result. How I use it, I use it every 2 days and apply to my scalp and edges. I do not rinse it out. On wash day , every 2 weeks, I apply it on my scalp and hair, cover for 30 mins and then shampoo and deep condition my hair. I then apply my leave in and reapply the Batana oil on scalp and edges and also my moisturizer on my hair. The benefits of using batana oil for hair include- Hair growth: Batana oil contains nutrients that can help promote hair growth. - Moisturizing: Batana oil is a good moisturizer for hair, helping to keep it hydrated and healthy. - Hair strengthening: The fatty acids present in batana oil can help strengthen hair, reducing the chances of breakage. - Natural hair dye: Batana oil can be used to restore natural color to gray and white hair. - Shine: Batana oil can add shine to hair, leaving it...
CPAP hair is hair damage or hair changes caused by regular use of a CPAP machine (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure), which many people use for sleep apnea. It’s not a medical diagnosis — it’s a hair and scalp issue people notice from the mask straps and airflow. What CPAP hair looks like Thinning or breakage where the headgear straps sit (edges, crown, sides) Dry, brittle hair from constant airflow Flattened or frizzy sections Scalp irritation or flakes under the straps Why CPAP causes hair issues Friction & tension from straps rubbing the same spots every night Constant airflow drying out hair and scalp Pressure on follicles, especially around edges and crown Lack of moisture protection while sleeping Over time, this can lead to traction alopecia–type damage in strap areas. How to prevent CPAP hair damage Cover your hair: Wear a satin bonnet, scarf, or silk-lined cap under your CPAP mask Wrap the straps: Use satin or fleece CPAP strap covers M...
What is the LOC Method? The LOC method is the three steps of moisturizing your hair and sealing in the mositure into your hair to keep it from drying and breaking. This method can be done as often as needed. I like to do this especially to my edges and my ends which tend to be drier than other parts of my hair. But at least once a week, I do this to my entire hair. Step 1: (L)iquid Liquid can be derived from when you wash or co-wash your hair or simply spraying your hair lightly with water. What I do on a regular basis is wet my hands with water and just run my wet hands through my hair. I read somewhere that when you wash your hair with water, do so using lukewarm water because hot water actually dries up your hair. Step 2: (O)ils Oils are SO good for your hair. They are one of the most natural products to use to moisturize your hair. Apply your oils to your hair making sure that it thoroughly penetrates your hair ...
