What is Your Natural Hair Type?

 
 
I get asked this question all the time, "What is My Natural Hair Type?". To many naturals, determining what their hair type is seems to be the answer to their perfect product search. For me, it is so much different.



Knowing my hair type goes beyond the Hair typing system. It is knowing my hair porosity (understand its product absorption capability), density, and also texture that matters

Using Batana oil to get Thicker Hair and Grow Hair

 I started using Batana oil on my scalp May 31st 2024.  You can also find it here http://hotana.com/discoveringnatural March 2024 Here is my 3 weeks result.  How I use it, I use it every 2 days and apply to my scalp and edges. I do not rinse it out. On wash day , every 2 weeks, I apply it on my scalp and hair, cover for 30 mins and then shampoo and deep condition my hair. Should You Use Engine Oil on your hair?

  In many natural hair groups, people are suggesting using engine oil, YES you read that right, Car Motor Oil, on the scalp and hair. You should not use engine oil in your hair because: 1. Toxicity:  Engine oil contains toxic chemicals like petroleum distillates, heavy metals, and additives that can be harmful when absorbed through the skin or scalp.
