Materials needed:

- A hair steamer (available at beauty supply stores or online)

- A plastic cap or steam cap or deep conditioning

- steaming machine. 

- A towel

- Your favorite conditioner or deep conditioning treatment

- Optional: essential oils (like coconut oil, argan oil, or lavender oil)


Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prep your hair: Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove product buildup. Towel-dry your hair until it's damp, but not soaking wet.

2. Apply conditioner or deep conditioning treatment: Apply your chosen conditioner or deep conditioning treatment to your hair, focusing on the ends.

3. Add essential oils (optional): If using essential oils, add a few drops to your conditioner or apply them directly to your hair.

4. Put on the plastic cap or steam cap or deep conditioning cap: Cover your hair with the plastic cap or steam cap to help trap the steam and heat.

5. Steam your hair: You can also use a steaming machine. Place the steamer over t your head that is covered with plastic cap, ensuring it's not touching your hair. Turn on the steamer and let it run for 15-30 minutes, depending on your hair's length and thickness.

6. Let it cool: Turn off the steamer and let your hair cool for 5-10 minutes.

7. Rinse and style: Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water, then style as usual.


Tips and Variations:

- Use a lower heat setting for finer hair or a higher setting for thicker hair.

- Steam your hair with a microfiber towel or T-shirt to reduce frizz and enhance curls.
